Warner visits The Majestic

Despite a fairly strong hype-machine backing last Christmas’ Jim Carrey drama The Majestic, the film failed to capture audience support and disappeared quickly from the silver screen. Now Warner Brothers is quietly preparing to release the DVD with some nice additions this June.

A valentine to the movies and their power in our lives! Jim Carrey plays an amnesia victim who, mistaken as a missing, favorite-son war hero by a tiny California town restores and reopens the local abandoned movie palace — discovering love and rebuilding his own life along the way.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen with a Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks, the disc also contains several deleted and extended scenes, filmographies and a theatrical trailer.

Available June 18th, the film will carry a $24.95 price tag.
