Warner takes A Walk to Remember

Only two novels have spent over a year on the hardcover and paperback New York Times bestseller list, one was Harry Potter and the other was the Nicholas Sparks novel of teen coping, A Walk to Remember. The filmed adaptation scored well with audiences as well and is now coming home to DVD from Warner Brothers Home Entertainment.

“A Walk to Remember” tells the heartfelt story of two North Carolina teenagers: Landon Carter, a troubled, unmotivated but very popular student and Jamie Sullivan, the serious and conservative daughter of a preacher. But as love pulls them closer, peer pressure and lifestyles seek to break them apart.

The DVD will be shown in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 and will contain two separate audio commentaries: one by stars Shane West, Mandy Moore and director Adam Shankman, the other by novelist Nicholas Sparks and screenwriter Karen Janszen. Also included on the disc are Mandy Moore’s “Cry” music video and a theatrical trailer.

Coming on July 9th, “A Walk to Remember” will be priced at $26.98. Order your copy at the DVD Review Store and save $8.00!
