If you’ve ever stared up at the stars and thought, “Life would be perfect, if only there was a sequel to “American Psycho””, then you are in luck. Trimark Entertainment has prepared a new direct-to-video sequel to the controversial thriller. American Psycho 2 hits DVD this June.

Patrick Bateman is dead. But his evil legacy continues in the body of Rachael Newman, the only victim who managed to escape Bateman’s grasp. However, she did not remain unscathed from the encounter, instead, Rachael has developed an obsession with serial killers. College is competitive for every student and Rachael is no exception. She will get rid of anyone who stands between her and her goal of becoming the teaching assistant to the infamous Dr. Daniels, a professor and former FBI profiler. The rigors of surviving college life can be challenging to a young beautiful co-ed like Rachael. In a world where the stakes are higher and sex can kill, lies the terror of the new American Psycho.

The disc will present the film in anamorphic widescreen and in Dolby Digital 5.1. Also included will be an audio commentary with director Morgan J. Freeman (not that Morgan Freeman), a second production-oriented commentary, deleted footage and a trailer.

Coming June 18th, the new slasher drama will carry a $24.99 price tag.
