Paramount visits Orange County

How time flies. Films released in 2002 are already starting to get announced on DVD. Paramount Home Entertainment is leading the trend with the college-bound comedy Orange County coming to DVD in June.

Shaun Brumder has one dream, to attend Stanford University and escape from the idiots who surround him in Orange County, California – especially his brother. But when his application goes awry, his brother is the only one who can help him, and Shaun learns that even if his brother is dumber than a bag of hammers, brothers will always be brothers.

Like most Paramount releases, the DVD will contain an anamorphic widescreen transfer and audio in Dolby Digital 5.1. The film will be supplemented with an audio commentary with director Jake Kasdan and writer Mike White, two deleted scenes with optional audio commentary, a theatrical trailer and TV spots.

June 18th is the day the boys will bring their quest for Stanford to DVD. The disc is priced at $29.95. You can pick up the disc at Shop in Digital for only $19.49.
