More catalogue releases from Disney

Just announced, are five new DVDs coming from Buena Vista Home Entertainment. While all five titles are bare-bones editions, many will be pleased to add Gordy, Mr. Wrong, Krippendorf’s Tribe, Scarlett Letter and V.I. Warshawski to their collections.

When the family of piglet Gordy is trucked “up north” to a mysterious place where no pig has ever returned, he runs off to find them and befriends two children along the way.
Mr. Wrong stars Ellen DeGeneres, and Bill Pullman. Together they deliver the agonies of dating in the 90s and demonstrate how the perfect dream date can transform life from the hopeful search for Mr. Right to the disappointment of ending up with Mr. Wrong.

Richard Dreyfuss stars as James Krippendorf in Krippendorf’s Tribe, an anthropologist who, for the last two years, has been raising his dysfunctional children on grant money for the study of an “undiscovered” tribe in New Guinea. Whe Krippendorf learns he must provide filmed proof of the tribe’s existence, he uses the only primitive group he knows to serve as the undiscovered tribe–his family!

In a time when adultery is punishable by death, Hester Prynne becomes involved in a risky and scandalous affair with her town’s handsome minister in Scarlett Letter. But when their secret passion results in a child, Hester is confronted with the town’s overwhelming scorn.

V.I. Warshawski is a tough-talking, sexy Chicago private eye caught up in a scheme of money, murder and the Windy City’s most notorious hoods.

Sadly all of these films are presented with no supplemental materials whatsoever. All five titles will be available on June 4th with a suggested retail price of $19.99 each.
