The long-awaited special edition of the bizarre action film Starship Troopers is finally on the way in May from Columbia TriStar and some final details have finally been made available.

Like the first release, the new two-disc set will carry the film in anamorphic widescreen with a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. Two audio commentaries, the first with Paul Verhoeven and Cast Members, and the second surprisingly also featuring Veroeven and Ed Neumeier. An isolated score, filmographies, deleted scenes, the documentary “Death from Above”, behind-the-scenes featurettes, screen tests, scene deconstructions by Paul Verhoeven and special effects comparisons for eight sequences.
