Columbia TriStar continues to support independent filmmakers with video premiers on DVD. The action drama Outside the Law is coming to DVD.

Martial artist secret agent Julie Cosgrove is ambushed while on a clandestine military mission in Colombia. Faced with the trauma of losing her entire team including her fianc’, Julie fled her job with the U.S. government and vows to start over. But on the threshold of a new life, she walks straight into her most dangerous mission yet. Passing through a small town, Julie befriends a group of locals who are unwittingly tied to a Florida mob. When one of her new acquaintances is killed, Julie’s lethal instincts and defensive training kick into gear. She finds herself on the run seeking freedom from the Feds . and justice for her friend.

The film itself will be given the full treatment, with anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen transfers and audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Surround 2.0. The only supplement will be a theatrical trailer.

Premiering June 4th, “Outside the Law” will come inside the video retailers for $24.95.
