Universal readies How High

Universal Studios Home Entertainment is about to remind us that a successful musical career and the ability to bark at a woman’s breasts are adequate requirements to make a film nowadays with the upcoming DVD release of the comedy How High.

Silas (Method Man) and Jamal (Redman) are two slackers with a talent for botany (and booty) and a knack for staying far away from school. Against all odds, both ace a college entrance exam and end up being accepted at Harvard, where they turn the school upside down in their pursuit of parties, honeys and outrageous hi-jinks.

The upcoming DVD will have an anamorphic widescreen transfer and audio in Dolby Digital 5.1. Extras will include the WTHC Special (The Making of How High BET Special), an audio commentary with Method Man and Redman, deleted scenes, outtakes, the “Hide the Stash” DVD-ROM game, music videos including “Part II” with Method Man and Redman and “Round and Round (Remix)” with Jonell and Method Man, a soundtrack spot, theatrical trailer, production notes and cast and filmmakers biographies.

Coming on May 21st, “How High” will carry a $26.98 retail price. You can now preorder the DVD at Shop In Digital for only $18.89!
