Mothman Prophecies is coming from Columbia TriStar

The creepy thriller Mothman Prophecies had the audience questioning reality, but the one reality that cannot be question is that the DVD is coming in June from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

John Klein, a Washington newspaper reporter leaves his job after his wife dies to investigate strange reports, including psychic visions and sightings of winged creatures, in a small West Virginia town, that may be the signs of an alien invasion of Earth.

Given the regular Columbia TriStar treatment, the new DVD will have an anamorphic widescreen transfer and audio in Dolby Digital 5.1. An audio commentary will be included with director Mark Pellington as well as two featurettes, deleted scenes, cast and crew filmographies and a theatrical trailer.

The official prophecy is that “Mothman Prophecies” will hit DVD on June 4th and carry a suggested retail price of $27.95.
