Best Actress winner Halle Berry shines in Monster’s Ball and Lion’s Gate is preparing a DVD to be released this June.

A southern prison guard finds himself caught between the powerful feelings of racism and love when he becomes involved with the wife of a man he is scheduled to execute.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen, the DVD will contain a Dolby Digital 5.1 and two audio commentaries from the stars and director of the film. Deleted scenes and outtakes as well as a “Making of the Music” featurette and theatrical trailers will be included.

When “Monster’s Ball” comes to DVD on June 11th, it will carry a $24.95 price tag.
