Buffy comes back for more

As Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment continues to define itself as a leader in television programs on DVD, the company has announced the complete second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer set to hit shelves in June.

Season two pits Buffy against a villain known as the Anointed One who is trying to bring The Master back to the world of the living. Two new vampires also joing the scene in the form of Spike and Drusilla who make Buffy’s job all the more demanding.

Presented in fullscreen with audio in Dolby Surround 2.0 the set will feature audio commentaries for the episodes “Reptile Boy, ” “What’s My Line?”, and “Innocence”. Also included are interviews with creator Joss Whedon. Three featurettes discuss the season; “Designing Buffy,” “A Buffy Bestiary” and “Beauty and Beasts,” . A still gallery, scripts for “Reptile Boy”;“What’s My Line?” and “Innocence”, UK and US TV spots, an “Angel” video trailer, and updated cast bios round out the set.
