The Oscar Announcements have begun already. Coming in May, the 2001 Best Picture Winner, A Beautiful Mind will come to DVD courtesy of Universal Studios Home Entertainment and DreamWorks SKG Home Entertainment.

Based on the true life story of mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr., “A Beautiful Mind” tells the tale of a troubled schizophrenic genius who could conquer the most complex of mathematical situations, but failed in the day to day struggles of life.

Presented with an anamorphic widescreen transfer and audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, the disc will contain an audio commentary, several featurettes, cast and crew filmographies and theatrical trailers.

Look for the newest member in the home of Oscar to arrive on May 28th. The disc will have a suggested retail price of $26.95.
