USA finds The Man Who Wasn’t There

This April will bring a pleasant gift for fans of the dark films of Joel and Ethan Coen. Their latest film, The Man Who Wasn’t There is coming to DVD with some nice surprises.

A new anamorphic transfer will highlight the subtleties of detail and color that permeate any Coen film. A Dolby Digital 5.1 track will be included as well as Dolby Surround audio in Spanish, and French. A more exciting piece of audio information is the inclusion of an audio commentary with Joel and Ethan Coen and Billy Bob Thornton, a first for Coen films on DVD. A featurette with the straightforward title “Making The Man Who Wasn’t There” will be in the package, as will an interviewwith Roger Deakins, deleted scenes, a photo gallery and the theatrical trailer.

$24.95 will be the suggested retail price on the DVD which will come to stores on April 16th.
