The 3 Worlds of Gulliver is coming from Columbia TriStar

Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment has apparently taken a renewed interest in the films created with the help of special effects pioneer Ray Harryhausen. In addition to the recently announced “First Men in the Moon”, the studio is now visiting the film that led to the invention of Superdynamation, the fantasy film The 3 Worlds of Gulliver.

Kerwin Matthews stars as Gulliver, the swashbuckling doctor who sets sail for fame and fortune in the fabled East Indies, but finds adventure, romance and danger instead in Brobdingang and Lilliput, the famous lands of the great and small.

“The 3 Worlds of Gulliver” is presented in its original fullscreen and mono. Two featurettes; “This Is Dynamation” and “The Making of The 3 Worlds of Gulliver” are included as is the documentary “The Harryhausen Chronicles” and cast and crew filmographies.

On April 16th, the new DVD will be in stores with a suggested retail price of $19.95.
