Buena Vista Home Entertainment should be thrilled with their association with the computer animators at PIXAR. The two will be presenting their latest opus, Monsters Inc. on DVD in September.

James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski are the hottest team at the power plant. But this is no ordinary power plant, this is a plant powered by the shrieks of children, and generated by the Monsters that lurk in the dark. Things change quickly when a little girl comes through and wreaks terror on the city. Monsters after all, are more afraid of children than vice versa.

Like previous PIXAR films, the monster story will be available both as a single disc version and a multi-disc collector’s edition. No details are available on specifics, but you can be sure the two disc version will be filled with as much informative and entertaining information as the wonderful “Toy Story” and “Bug’s Life” sets. More information will be posted as we get it.
