Paramount develops a Fatal Attraction

During the height of eighties comfort and excess, the movies gave us a harsh wake-up call with the chilling story of infidelity and love scorned in Fatal Attraction. The landmark film that spawned half a decade of copycats will come to DVD in April.

Dan Callagher’s marriage is going through rough times. As he spends more and more time with his colleague Alex, he eventually finds himself having an affair with her and cheating on his own family. But when Dan goes back to his family, Alex refuses to let him go, even if it means the death of his family.

A new anamorphic widescreen transfer will grace the film as will a new Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track in addition to the film?s original Dolby Surround 2.0 audio track. An audio commentary with director Adrian Lyne, cast and crew interviews, “The Cultural Phenomenon of Fatal Attraction” featurette, behind the scenes footage, and the alternate ending which has been unavailable on home video for many years with an introduction by Adrian Lyne will all be on the disc.

The 16th of April is the day. $24.95 is the price. Are you ready for “Fatal Attraction”?
