Most people were pleased with the quality of the recent DVD releases of the popular NBC sitcom Friends, but were less pleased with the quantity. Warner Brothers Home Entertainment has heard the complaints and is readying Friends: The Complete First Season to be released in April.

Ross, Joey, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Rachel weren’t always the group of friends they are now. It took them eight years to reach their current levels of neurosis. Go back to 1994 when six friends were just getting to know each other, and we were just beginning to let them into our homes.

The new set will contain all twenty-three episodes of the first season presented in their original fullscreen presentation. No information is currently available on what extras may be included in the set, but any new information on the subject will be posted here as it arrives.
