Paramount plays Hardball with DVD fans in February

Paramount Home Entertainment has just unveiled plans to release Hardball in February.

Directed by Brian Robbins, “Hardball” is the story of Conor O’Neill (Keanu Reeves) who is about to discover that redemption comes in all different sizes when he is called upon to coach a baseball team of underprivileged kids in one of the toughest parts of Chicago.

The DVD will feature an anamorphic widescreen transfer of the movie in its 1.85:1 aspect ratio, with a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track, as well as Dolby Surround tracks in English and French. A commentary track by director Brian Robbins and writer John Gatis will also be found on the disc, as well a “Making-Of” Featurette. Three Deleted Scenes and Intersititals will also be part of the release, as well as the Music Video Hardball by Lil Bow Wow, Lil“ Wayne, Lil” Zane & Sammie.

The DVD will carry a suggested retail price of $29.99 when it will be in stores on February 19.
