Moulin Rouge

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment’s 2-disc Special Edition of “Moulin Rouge” contains a seemingly endless series of hidden features that we will help you explore.

Insert the second disc of the set and from the main menu select the “More” option. In the next screen, highlight the “Back” menu entry at the bottom and then press the “Down” arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight a fairy. Press “EnteR” now and you will get to see an gag reel from the movie.

Now select “The Dance” on the second menu of the disc. On the next screen select “The Dance” once again and then highlight “A Word From Baz.” Press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control and you will get to see a short behind-the-scenes clip.

Another one can be found in “The Dance” submenu. After selecting “The Dance, ” select “Choreography” on the following screen. Then highlight the “Main Menu” menu entry and press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control This will highlight a windmill and give you access to some dancing rehearsal footage.

Also on the second main menu, select the “Marketing” menu entry. Select the “Photo Gallery” and then highlight “Mary Ellen Mark.” Now press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control for a clip of John Leguizamo behind the scenes.

Now go back to the disc’s main menu where you select “The Cutting Room.” On the following screen, highlight the “Main Menu” entry at the bottom of the screen and then press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control to highlight the symbol of a windmill. If you press “Enter” now, you will get access to 2 minutes of Ewan’s “Your Song.”

Also from the disc’s main menu, select “The Stars.” In the following menu select more and then highlight John Leguizamo’s card. Press the “Up” arrow on your remote control and a fairy appears, which gives you access to a short clip of John Leguizamo in his violin costume.

From the disc’s second main menu, select “The Music” and then select “The Lady Marmalade Phenomenon.” In the following menu screen, highlight the “Main Menu” entry and press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control. This will show a windmill icon, allowing you to see a clip of direct Baz Luhrman in a car.

Go back to the main menu of the second disc and select “This Story Is About…” In the following menu, select “Old storylines & script comparison” and in the follwing menu highlight the “Return” menu entry. Now press the “right” arrow key on your remote control and a fairy will appear. Press “Enter” now and you will get to see some more behind-the-scenes footage.
