Tales of Rock Stars and Rebels

Warner Brothers Home Video is preparing two new discs celebrating the rebel spirit; the recent Mark Wahlberg Rock and Roll story Rock Star and the recent TNT biographical original movie James Dean, both set for a January release.

Catch the tale of “Rock Star”, the story of a copy machine repairman hired to be the new lead singer for his favorite band. Starring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston, Rock Star is the story of the wanna-be who got to be.

The “Rock Star” DVD will be presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio in English and French and will contain the film in 16×9 widescreen format. The disc will contain a feature-length commentary by director Stephen Herek, a music video by Everclear, the HBO First Look Special and cast and crew filmographies.

Directed by Mark Rydell, a personal friend of the famed actor, “James Dean” takes a knowing look at 1950s Hollywood and the man behind the legend. To fast to live. Too young to die.

The special will be presented in its original fullscreen ratio with a Dolby Digital 5.0 soundtrack. The DVD will also include trailers for the James Dean films “Rebel Without a Cause” and “Giant” as well as cast and director film highlights.

Coming on January 22nd, “Rock Star” and “James Dean” will each carry a suggested retail price of $19.98.
