In what is possibly a first for the DVD industry, a disc has been
recalled to prevent the spread of computer virus. The most recent
Warner Brothers Home Entertainment release of the popular
Powerpuff Girls series has been discovered to contain the fairly
unpleasant FunLove virus.

The volume, entitled “Meet the Beat Alls” apparently became infected in
te master at the duplication plant. The virus, which affects Windows NT,
95, 98, and ME, had apparently affected three programs on the discs
DVD-ROM content before pressing. It is unknown how widespread the
infection is, but Warner has recalled and destroyed the disc.
