Fox is readying new DVDs, Don’t Say a Word

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is preparing a special two-disc collection of the recent Michael Douglas thriller Don’t Say a Word.

When the daughter of a psychiatrist is kidnapped, he’s horrified to discover that the abductors’ demand is that he break through to a catatonic young woman who knows a deadly secret. As he desperately tries to unlock the secret, not even knowing what he’s looking for he realizes the depths of her condition is not remotely what he had expected.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen, the DVD will be released with both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 surround tracks. Disc one contains only the film accompanied by two Audio Commentaries, the first with director Gary Fleder and the second with actors Michael Douglas, Sean Bean, Brittany Murphy, Famke Jansen and Oliver Platt.

The second disc contains quite a few features including a Making-of Featurette, the “Cinema Master Class” Conversation with Gary Fleder, a Producing Workshop, a Conversation with The Kopelsons, two Multi-angle Storyboard Sequences, Screen Tests, Filmographies, TV Spots and Theatrical Trailers.

“Don’t Say a Word” is due from Fox on February 19th. The suggested retail price is $27.95.
