Didi Conn, Joe Silver and Melanie Mayron star in the film best known for its Oscar winning title song. You Light Up My Life is coming to disc from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

Laurie Robinson has come to a crossroads in her life; she does not want to follow in the footsteps of her well-known comedian father, and she doesn’t really love the man to whom she is engaged. Leaving all behind, Laurie sets out on her own, determined to become an actress and songwriter. Her dreams seem to be realized when she successfully auditions for a film role and has a whirlwind affair with the director. Just as quickly, however, the dream begins to disintegrate.

Presented in both fullscreen and anamorphic widescreen, “You Light Up My Life” contains a digitally remastered version of its original mono soundtrack. Sadly, the disc will come with no features whatsoever.

Coming on January 22nd, the DVD will cost $24.95.
