Nine Inch Nails are coming to DVD in December

nothing records announced the street date for the highly anticipated live release from nine inch nails entitled nine inch nails live: and all that could have been, documenting the band’s sold-out “Fragility v2.0” concert tour. Available in stores on Tuesday, December 4, the project will be available in three formats: CD, DVD, and VHS. “nine inch nails live: and all that could have been” documents the band’s sold-out “Fragility v2.0” concert tour. The DVD will feature the 18 songs, including “terrible lie,” “sin,” “march of the pigs,” “piggy,” “the frail,” the wretched,” “gave up,” “la mer” and many others.

The DVD, produced by Trent Reznor with Rob Sheridan directing, contains eighteen songs which recreate the Fragility concert experience from beginning to end, using video footage collected over the course of the entire U.S. tour. The film was shot entirely on Mini DV by nine inch nails and their crew throughout the tour and edited exclusively on Macintosh computers using Apple Final Cut Pro and Apple DVD Studio Pro software. All audio was edited and assembled on Macintosh computers using Digidesign’s Pro Tools software.

“nine inch nails live: and all that could have been” marks the band’s first DVD release. The “nine inch nails live: and all that could have been” DVD will feature digital 5.1 surround sound and extra features including multiple camera angles, audio commentary, still photos, and much more and will be available in both DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 formats.
