VeggieTales: The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown

Big Idea’s DVD release of the “VeggieTales: The Ultimate Silly Song Countdown” contains a number of funny hidden features that are as enjoyable as the feature presentations themselves.

From the disc’s main menu, go to the “Chapters: Songs and Scenes” menu. Once there, highlight the “Main Menu” entry and then press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control. The highlight disappears and if you press “Enter” now, you will be treated to the silly song “Oh Santa!”

Once back on the scene selection screen, highlight the “5-8” scene selector and when you get there, once again, highlight the “Main Menu” entry, press the “Right” arrow key and follow it by “Enter.” This will take you to a rendition of the “Lost Puppies” song from Esther.

Now, select the “9-12” scene menu, and repeat the procedures. You will get to see the “Official Voting Results” from the Silliest Silly Song vote.

Maybe the most hilarious of all these silly songs can be found in the “13-16” scene menu. After following the above procedure, you can “The Hairbrush Song” in Japanese… or Silly-Japanese, I should say.
