Kevin Bacon and Sean Astin star in the suspenseful adventure White Water Summer. The 1987 film is on its way to DVD this Christmas from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

An experienced guide, Vic, accompanies a city boy, Alan, and his three friends on their first wilderness experience. Hoping to teach the four boys lessons not only about the wilderness, but about themselves, Vic pushes them to the limit. Soon after alienating the boys, Vic finds himself in desperate need of help and must rely on his students in order to survive.

“White Water Summer” is coming with a new anamorphic widescreen transfer as well as a formatted fullscreen transfer. The audio will be portrayed in its original Dolby 4.0 sound. The disc will also contain an original theatrical trailer.

The new DVD will join several other titles from Columbia TriStar which are hitting shelves on December 4th. 19.95.
