Basic Instinct: Special Edition

There’s some hidden stuff to be found on Artisan Home Entertanment’s Special Edition release of Paul Verheoven’s thriller “Basic Instinct.”

From the disc’s main menu, go to the “Special Features” section and once there, press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control to highlight the ice-pick icon on the screen. Press “Enter” now and you will get the chance to see about 6-minutes worth of rehearsal footage of Sharon Stone, including the Interrogation, and Lie Detector scenes, as well as a number of others.

Some more hidden footage can be found in the “Setup” menu of the disc. Press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control twice to highlight the ice pick on this screen, and the press “Enter.” This will give you the chance to see some rehearsal footage of Jeanne Tripplehorn.

Selecting the “JVC” logo at the bottom of the “Setup” menu will also give you the chance to see a commercial for JVC products.
