Anchor Bay offers a recall on Opera

Anchor Bay Entertainment has discovered an apparent flaw in DVDs from the recent print run of Dario Argento’s horror film, Opera. In order to effectively correct this problem, the company is announcing a nationwide recall of the discs. Anchor Bay is also working with its replicator to insure the defect does not happen to future discs.

According to Anchor Bay president Dan Whitt, “We were made aware of a widespread problem last Friday, and we have decided to recall all the ”Opera“ DVDs currently within the marketplace. All the discs will be replaced with discs from the new production.”

Anchor Bay is encouraging consumers not to return the discs to stores, but to deal directly with the company. To obtain replacement discs, visit Anchor Bay’s website.
Keep your information including name, address, telephone number, retail outlet where purchased, date of purchase and limited edition number ready. Only one replacement will be offered per household.
