While the film is still showing in some theatres across the U.S., Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment is already hard at work on the upcoming DVD special edition of this summer’s romantic comedy America’s Sweethearts.

Gwen (Catherine Zeta-Jonas) and Eddie (John Cusack) are America’s Sweethearts – the country’s favorite couple, on-screen and off. When their very public romance turns into a very private breakup, only veteran press agent Lee (Billy Crystal) and personal assistant and sister to spoiled and narcissistic movie diva Gwen, Kiki (Julia Roberts) can help Gwen and Eddie show some love while they promote their last film together at a press junket in a romantic old hotel miles from nowhere. While Lee and Kiki frantically try to keep the media away from the real story, it beings very challenging for Kiki and Eddie from keeping Gwen and Eddie from revealing their secret. Kiki finds something entirely unexpected in this romantic comedy about true love, happily ever after and other Hollywood endings.

“America’s Sweethears” will come with both fullscreen and anamorphic widescreen transfers with Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby 2-Channel. The disc will feature a new Featurette: Close Up: America’s Sweethearts, Delected Scenes, Theatrical Trailers and Filmographies.

The DVD is coming on November 13th with a suggested retail price of $27.96.
