Universal Studios Home Video will explore the brilliant mind of a madman, through the release of The Caveman’s Valentine, a suspenseful thriller based on the award winning novel by George Dawes Green.

Detached from the world, misunderstood Juilliard-trained genius Romulus Ledbetter (Samuel L. Jackson) finds a frozen corpse outside his Manhattan cave. Determined to solve this heinous homicide, he risks the remaining shreds of his sanity for the sake of justice. Can a man whom no one believes prove a crime all too unbelievable for the imagination?

The upcoming DVD will present the film in anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen and will contain an English sountrack in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 sound. Although not a full-fledged Universal Collector’s Edition, the disc will also contain a feature length audio commentary, deleted scenes, cast & filmmaker bios, production notes, and a theatrical trailer.

“The Caveman’s Valentine” comes into the light on July 17th. The disc will be priced at $26.98.
