More Farscape is on the way

ADV Films has set a date for the next volume of the popular SciFi series Farscape. The series, created by Jim Henson Studios and still airing on The SciFi Channel, will see two new episodes come to DVD in the sixth volume of the series.

“Till The Blood Runs Clear”: While out studying solar flares in his module, Crichton unexpectedly creates a wormhole. Aeryn manages to pull the module away before they’re sucked in. They are forced to land at the Dambada Depot where they discover a Wanted Beacon offering a reward for the return of Zhaan, D’Argo and Rygel. When confronted by two vicious Bloodtrackers determined to get the reward, Crichton and Aeryn must also impersonate bounty hunters. The situation gets even more complicated when D’Argo comes down to the planet and is captured by the Bloodtrackers.

“Rhapsody in Blue”: The crew wakes to find Moya has StarBurst on her own accord to answer the distress call of another Leviathan. But the call was merely a psychic ruse by a stranded Delvian sect who needs Zhaan’s powers to heal their leader, Tahleen, from madness. Crichton and the rest of the crew are helpless as they become victims of the sect’s mystical powers, as Tahleen attempts to steal Zhaan’s soul.
The DVD will contain both episodes with footage never before seen by American audiences. In addition, it will include a wide variety of extras, such as Image galleries and in-depth Character Profiles on Moya, the Leviathan Transport ship and Pilot. The DVD will include both 5.1 channel and 2.0 Dolby Digital audio tracks.

“Farscape: Till the Blood Runs Clear/Rhapsody in Blue” will be released on September 4th, 2001 with a suggested retail price of $24.98.
