Miramax wants us to Get Over It

As more of last year’s teen films come to DVD, Miramax adds to the roster with the comedy Get Over It.

Berke Landers (Ben Foster) has done the impossible, he’s dating the hottest girl in school, but when Berke gets unexpectedly dumped, he’s willing to do just about anything to get her back. Against the advice of his pals Dennis (Sisqo) and Felix (Colin Hanks), he joins the high school production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in order to get close to his ex-girlfriend. So what if he can’t sing: he’s trying out for the musical and the only one that can get him through turns out to be Kelly (Kirstem Dunst) – once just his best friend’s pesky little sister, she might just be the one to help him “get over it”.

The disc contains a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track and an anamorphic widescreen video presentation. The bonus materials on the disc include a feature commentary track with director Tommy O’Haver and screenwriter R. Lee Fleming Jr., deleted scenes together with anoptional commentary by director Tommy O’Haver and screenwriter R. Lee Fleming Jr., two music videos – “Love Scud” and “The Itch”, audio tracks of the original songs, Martin Short’s make-up test, Martin Short outtakes, and a Behind-the-scenes Featurette.

The wait begins until August 14th when “Get Over It” hits shelves for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
