The popular Goosebumps series comes to DVD in an all-new movie

Twentieth Century Fox has decided to adapt the long-running children’s book series Goosebumps with production of the first “Goosebumps” direct-to-video movie based on the book When Good Ghouls Go Bad written by “Goosebumps” author R.L. Stein.

The story follows a 12-year-old boy (Joe Pichler) who has moved with his father and Uncle Fred (Christopher Lloyd) to a Minnesota town seemingly haunted by a curse that prevents its residents from celebrating Halloween.

The DVD, which will be available on September 4th, will then make its TV premiere on Fox Family Channel as the centerpiece of the network’s annual “13 days of Halloween” programming event in October.

The DVD will not contain any special features, but will be available on September 4th with a pricetag of $19.98.
