This August, Paramount Home Video will be releasing Hunter, the final film of the indelibly cool Steve McQueen.
“Hunter showcases the dynamic talent of the late great actor in one of his most human roles – the true story of Ralph ”Papa“ Thorson, a modern-day bounty hunter. As Thorson’s cases vary from the mundane to the harrowing, he beings to question the directions he has taken in life. When the taking of life become the norm, he begins to question how different he is from the criminals he pursues.

The coming disc of ”Hunter“ will be presented in widescreen and enhanced for 16X9 TVs. The audio will be presented in the film’s original mono. Unfortunatly, no supplemental features will be included on the DVD, save for the original theatrical trailer. Coming August 14th, ”Hunter” will be available for $29.99
