Sonic Solutions (Nasdaq:SNIC) today announced that Avid Technology (Nasdaq:AVID) has expanded its use of Sonic’s DVD authoring technology in its Avid Xpress DV product line. Avid’s new Avid Xpress Deluxe and Avid Xpress Elite products will now include Sonic DVDit! PE for Windows and Sonic DVD Fusion LE for the Macintosh. Additionally, Avid’s TurboPack, available for existing Avid Xpress Plus users, will include both Sonic’s DVDit! and DVD Fusion LE applications.
