Artisan presents the direct-to-video feature Skeletons in the Closet

Banking on the financial successes of previous direct-to-video titles, Artisan Home Entertainment is preparing their new feature Skeletons in the Closet for a DVD release.

A small town. A string of murders. Will Reid (Treat Williams) is forced to confront the unthinkable… that his 18 year old son, Jonathon, may be a serial murderer. The gathering evidence forces Will to confront the unimaginable – his son’s apparent guilt. But Will has secrets of his own, and when a new love interest (Linda Hamilton) comes into his life, secrets are brought out into the light of day. Become chilled to the bone as you wonder who’s telling the truth, and who may be the real serial killer.

Upping the standard for direct-to-video releases, “Skeletons in the Closet” will be presented in anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, and will contain a pleasantly surprising amount of special features highlighted by an audio commentary by the film’s writer/director, Wayne Powers. The DVD will also contain a trailer, cast and crew information, and production notes.

“Skeletons in the Closet” will be available for DVD on July 24 and will carry a suggested retail price of $24.98.
