In addition to the previously announced A&E documentary, Terra Entertainment will be releasing their own take on the landmark historical event in Pearl Harbor: The Real Story.

Although “Pearl Harbor: The Real Story” is likely to cover some of the same ground as other Pearl Harbor documentaries, it will be unique in that it features newly discovered footage of the bombing of the USS Arizona from a Japanese bomber. This new captured Japanese footage offers new information on the attack since most exsisting American footage was taken from the ground and not the sky.

Although the DVD will apparently be featureless, the documentary itself will span two DVDs, providing plenty of insight into the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and specifically the USS Arizona. Coming on Memorial Day, “Pearl Harbor” will make a nice addition to the upcoming batch of Pearl Harbor related DVDs for any history buff.
