Reggae fans should be pleased to hear that Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers: Live will be released as a new DVD from Image Entertainment next month.

Since the late 1980s, the Marley siblings have continued to open new musical chapters in the family’s history book. Their exploration of traditional reggae music with a contemporary flair has earned them three Grammy Awards and the admiration of fans and critics alike around the globe. Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers continue to build on the foundation that father, Bob Marley, began. Their newest concert release features over 100 minutes of greatest hits; sixteen songs in total including “Brothers and Sisters”, “Higher Vibration”, “Jammin’”, Could You Be Loved?“, ”Justice“ and ”Rainbow Country“.

The new DVD will include Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, behind-the-scenes footage and a bonus track of the song ”Tomorrow People”. Coming May 29th, the musical DVD will carry a suggested retail price of $24.99.
