A batch of new anime is on its way from ADV Films

ADV Films has announced three new titles; Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040: For All Mankind, Sailor Moon: Field Trips, and Sailor Moon: Trials and Troubles will join the ADV library this summer.

In “Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040: For All Mankind”, the branches of the Dragon Line become the arms with which Galatea seeks to crush the last vestiges of human resistance in Tokyo. Now the city is abandoned. Only the Knight Sabers remain, mankind’s last line of defense against the nightmarish spawn of man and machine. “For All Mankind” concludes the “Bubblegum Crisis” series with the final five episodes.

The two “Sailor Moon” titles will arrive a month later. In “Sailor Moon: Field Trips”, A trip to a finishing school turns into a nightmare when it’s discovered that the teacher really wants to finish off her students! Then, an avalanche threatens to disrupt the scouts’ skiing trip, a hunky ice skating star turns out to be a pawn of the evil Negaverse, and a lake creature tries to wreck Serena’s family vacation. Whew, talk about having a rough day. In “Sailor Moon: Trials and Troubles”, Things are bad enough when the evil Queen Beryl tries to recapture the seven who found the Rainbow Crystals, but when the Sailor Scouts start arguing among themselves things begin to go seriously wrong. When the forces of the Negaverse finally manage to break into our universe, Sailor Moon has to face off against Beryl, her “doom and gloom” girls and Tuxedo Mask.

Currently, no specs are available for any of these discs, but “Bubblegum Crisis 2040” will hit stores June 5th, carrying a suggested price tag of $29.98. Both “Sailor Moon” discs will be available on July 3rd with a suggested retail price of $12.95 each.
