Columbia TriStar revisits A Few Good Men this May

Columbia TriStar Home Video will be re-releasing Rob Reiner’s military drama A Few Good Men as a new Special Edition. Originally released on DVD in 1997, “A Few Good Men” features Tom Cruise as a brash Navy lawyer who is teamed with a gung-ho litigator in a politically-explosive murder case. Charged with defending two Marines accused of killing a fellow soldier, they are confronted with complex issues of loyalty and honor.

The new DVD will contain an anamorphic widescreen version of the film and a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital English track, as well as French, Spanish and Portuguese language tracks. Special Features include an Audio Commentary by director Rob Reiner, a new Documentary entitled “Code of Conduct”, and the Featurette “From Stage to Screen with Aaron Sorkin and Rob Reiner”. Filmographies and a trailer (as well as trailers for the films “Jerry Maguire” and “The Juror”) complete the package. As another plus for some will be the inclusion of English subtitles, which were absent from several early Columbia TriStar releases.

Coming May 29th, “A Few Good Men” comes with a suggested retail price of $29.95.
