A&E remembers Pearl Harbor

Timed to coincide with the upcoming Michael Bay film, A&E Home Video will be releasing The History Channel’s historical documentary Pearl Harbor.

This comprehensive look at Pearl Harbor, which, among other things, includes interviews with survivors and their families as well as archival footage will consist primarily of the new History Channel program Tora, Tora, Tora; The Real Story of Pearl Harbor. The two part program describes events leading up to “the day that will live in infamy” from American and Japanese perspectives. This promises to be a definitive guide to this major event in American History.

The documentary will come as a two DVD set. In addition to the documentary, the bonus program America’s 5-Star Heroes; The Pacific Commanders charts the careers pivotal commanders of the time from Admiral “Hap” Arnold to Chester Nimitz. A Technical Manual will be included with schematics of Japanese aircraft and U.S. naval vessels.

Coming April 24th at $29.95, this will be a good companion for those wanting to brush up before the summer blockbuster hits theaters, and a must for all history buffs.
