Columbia Records is releasing Barbra Streisand’s Timeless — Live In Concert

Columbia Records is releasing Barbra Streisand’s Timeless — Live In Concert, the singer’s first-ever live concert DVD to stores on February 20, six days after the FOX Television Network airs an edited two-hour version of the program on Valentine’s Day, February 14, from 8pm – 10pm (EST). The DVD/VHS edition(s) of Timeless — Live In Concert captures Ms. Streisand’s historic new millennium performance at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve 1999-2000. Tracks on the DVD/VHS version(s) of the concert which will not appear on the FOX broadcast include: “A Sleepin“ Bee,”“ “Miss Marmelstein,”“ “As Time Goes By”“/“Speak Low,”“ “Auld Lang Syne,”“ and “Everytime You Hear Auld Lang Syne.”“ Other highlights available only on the home versions of Timeless — Live In Concert include Ms. Streisand’s stage-to-video comedic dialog with Shirley MacLaine on “Shirley MacLaine Y1K”“ and Savion Glover’s dance solo on “Time After Time.”’

Timeless — Live In Concert marks the first time a full-length live concert by Ms. Streisand has been made available on DVD and showcases the magic–musical and visual–of her performance, fully capturing one of the world’s most celebrated turn-of-the-millennium events. The DVD edition has been digitally mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and PCM Stereo and features interactive menus, instant chapter access to each song and a complete album discography.
