Buena Vista Home Video has announced that they will be releasing the DVDs of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 as separate discs this coming March.

The films were released back in October as a 2-pack featuring both films, and as a 3-pack Ultimate Toy Box featuring both films and a third disc of supplements. But some fans wanted the option of simply acquiring either film separately and apparently Buena Vista listened. Though not completely clear, it appears from the press release that the discs will be identical to those already released in the sets.

Both ‘Toy Story’ and ‘Toy Story 2’ will see their individual release on March 20th. Each disc will retail for $29.99 (maybe soon Buena Vista will listen to fans and lower their initial MSRP, eh?).
