The “Abominable Dr. Phibes” Rises Again on DVD!

Fans of Vincent Price and classic campy 70s horror will be absolutely delighted to hear that MGM Home Entertainment is preparing both The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971) and Dr. Phibes Rises Again (1972) for DVD release this coming February.

A doctor, scientist, organist, and biblical scholar, Dr. Anton Phibes… thought to be dead… seeks revenge on the nine doctors he considers responsible for his wife’s death in the first film. Each murder is a delicious Grand Guignol set piece that gets more imaginative as the movie goes on. In the sequel, Dr. Phibes rises yet again to seek the Scrolls of Life in order to resurrect his dead wife. Here are the specifics about each film:

The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971)
