Here are the details about two separate Oliver Stone releases in January

As we had announced earlier, Warner Home Video is preparing two extensive Oliver Stone Collection box sets for release on January 16. A number of the titles included in these box sets will also be made available individually, and we have just received the detaisl about these separate releases of Heaven And Earth and Natural Born Killers.

Stone’s 142-minute drama “Heaven And Earth” is the third film in an extraordinary trilogy. Oliver Stone’s sweeping, true-life film of a Vietnamese woman’s struggle to survive war, hardship and upheaval in her own land and later in her adopted land of America with her soldier husband, who’s finding it nearly impossible to adjust to peace-time back home. The DVD will feature a 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfer and contain a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track. As bonus materials, this disc will also contain an audio commentary track by director Oliver Stone as well as deleted footage and the movie’s trailer.

Warner Home Video will also release the 118-minute theatrical version of “Natural Born Killers” separately on January 16. Relentlessly violent and unapologetically graphic, Oliver Stone’s “Natural Born Killers” incited controversy and drew criticism from many sources. Stone champions the film as parody played to its extreme, a wake-up call to a society weaned on television that has come to accept egregious violence as entertainment. The DVD will feature a 16×9 enhanced widescreen transfer and come with a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track. As supplements, the disc will feature an audio commentary track with director Oliver Stone, a “Making Of” Featurette, deleted footage and an alternate ending.
Both Special Edition DVDs will carry a suggested retail price of $24.98.
