Warners brings one for the kids—many, many kids—with Pokemon: The Movie 2000

Warner Home Video will play candyman to millions of jonesing children with the DVD release of Pokemon: The Movie 2000.

An ancient legend comes true when Pokemon Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres are disturbed after centuries of harmony. As the very forces of nature come unbalanced, life on Earth depends on the unlikely teaming of the mythical Pokemon Lugia and a mysterious ‘choosen one’ foretold in the legend. The movie comes with a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. Extras include: ‘Soundtrack Live’–musical performances from the ‘Pokemon: The Movie 2000’; exclusive footage–sneak preview of ‘Pokemon 3’; all-new Pikachu game card and Lugia coin; and a trailer. The DVD-ROM features include: sampler trailers; Nintendo game guides; web events; links, and a ‘making of’ featurette.

Warner Home Video will release this disc on November 14th, with a suggested retail price of $24.98.
