Fans of Tobe The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Hooper will get a chance to see the director’s most recent film, when Trimark Pictures releases Crocodile to DVD this December. This one is obviously a bit obscure, but you have to love the description:

‘Getting drunk and laid was the purpose of this fratboy trip to the grand American wilderness. However, upon stumbling upon the eggs of a rare and vicious crocodile species, these reckless youths meet a crocodile on a personal rampage.’

Hmmm. Nothing worse than a large reptile with a grudge…

The movie stars Harrison Young, Rhett Jordan, Sommer Knight, Mark McLaughlin, Julie Mintz, and Caitlin Martin.

Trimark will present us with a widescreen transfer, letterboxed in the film’s original aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Extras include deleted footage, an audio commentary, a ‘making of’ featurette, and a trailer.

The release date is scheduled for December 26th, perfect for that day-after-holiday viewing. The suggested retail price will be $24.99.
