Anchor Bay Entertainment prepares the mother of all Halloween parties

A long time in the planning, Anchor Bay Entertainment has finalized their plans to have a true Halloween spectacular in celebration of John Carpenter’s Halloween.

On Friday, October 13, Anchor Bay has arranged for a screening of the movie at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood that will leave fans of the film speechless. Starting out with a panel discussion about the making of the film, the event will start at 8:00 pm, and gives John Carpenter, Debra Hill, Jamie Lee Curtis, P. J. Soles, Nancy Loomis, Dean Cundy, Tommy Lee Wallace and Irwin Yablans the chance to get together on one stage to talk about this movie that wrote horror history! Yes folks, that is right, all of them will be there to talk about the film in front of a live audience. If you thought it can’t get any better, get this. A large number of celebrity guests are expected for the event, such as Roger Avary, Josh Becker, Clive Barker, Drew Barrymore, Jamie Blanks, Bruce Campbell, Bill Condon, Ellie Cornell, Don Coscarelli, Frank Darabont, Monte Hellman, Ashley Laurence, Matthew Lillard, Bill Lustig, Michael Nesmith, George Romero, Richard Rush, Kevin Williamson and Rob Zombie.

Following the panel, Anchor Bay Entertainment will screen the movie to celebrate “Halloween.”
