The Prisoner is finally coming to DVD

Fans of great television will be very happy come Halloween. A&E Home Video is releasing the first 3 episodes of the well-ahead-of-its-time British TV show, The Prisoner to DVD in October. Includes “The Arrival” (pilot episode), “Free for All,” and “Dance of the Dead.”

“The Prisoner” is presented Full Frame and will contain: Production Stills, a Trailer, a rarely seen interview with Patrick McGoohan from Canadian TV, “Foreign File Cabinet” footage, and trivia.
The set will be released on October 31st, and will retail for $39.95.
