The Grinch is coming back to DVD in October through Warner Home Video

The Grinch will be everywhere this holiday season, and everyone but the “Whos” down in Whoville will rejoice that he is returning to town on October 31 as Warner Home Video brings a new digitally enhanced version of Dr. Seuss’ classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas! to families everywhere.

With the live-action feature “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” from Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment, starring Jim Carrey as The Grinch and directed by Ron Howard, scheduled for release in theaters on November 17, 2000, Grinch popularity is certain to be at an all-time high. The DVD version of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!,” also includes the Dr. Seuss favorite Horton Hears a Who!

Loaded with special features, the digitally enhanced “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”/“Horton Hears a Who!” DVD will include “Songs in the Key of Grinch,” accompanied by Interviews with award-winning composer Albert Hague and vocalist Thurl Ravenscroft. TNT’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” Special Edition will also be part of the release as well as a Commentary by animator Phil Roman and the legendary June Foray, who lent her voice to countless cartoon characters, including the voice of Cindy Lou Who. Last, but not least, you will also find Pencil Sketches of The Grinch and Horton characters on the DVD.

The new Special Edition of “How The Grinch Stole Christmas!” will be in stores on October 31 at a suggested retail price of $19.98! Wow!
